Why Pivot Methanol
Over the past three decades, the global methanol industry has evolved from a conventional fossil-based chemical market into a critical driver of the low-carbon energy transition. Few industry leaders have been as closely connected to that transformation as Greg Dolan.
As former CEO of the Methanol Institute, Greg led the industry’s global trade association during a period of unprecedented growth and innovation, helping expand international markets, elevate emerging technologies, engage new stakeholders, and position methanol as a leading solution for cleaner energy and transportation.
Today, Pivot Methanol brings that experience, network, and strategic insight directly to clients.
We help startups enter the methanol market with confidence, support established companies seeking growth opportunities, and guide investors evaluating the rapidly evolving clean fuels landscape. With deep expertise across industry relationships, technology developments, and policy frameworks, Pivot Methanol provides the strategic perspective and industry access needed to navigate a complex and fast-moving market.
